Joseon is in a state of unrest due to the uprising and the power struggle over King Lee Hun (Yeo Jin-Goo). To prevent murder, a clown named Ha Sun (Yeo Jin-Goo) is brought to the palace to replace King Lee Hun. Ha Sun is almost identical to King Lee Hun.
When Ha Sun was young, her parents died of an epidemic. Ha Sun was about to die at the time, but was rescued by a group of clowns. Ha Sun grew up with clowns and became one of them. During her performance, Ha Sun King Lee will record Hun Hun because of her similar physical appearance. Now Ha Sun is nervous that someone in the palace will find out that he is not the real king. He falls in love with the beautiful queen Yoo So-Woon (Lee Se-Young).
